Chile Is a country of
great beauty and contrast that offers tourists a safe and stable
environment, stunning nature and first class service to enjoy incomparable
and unforgettable experiences.
Chile extends from the Atacama Desert in the north to Torres Del
Paine in the South.
In the vicinity of the Atacama Desert you can stay at one the many
Lodges and Hotels to experience the Salt Flats and Geysers. Further
to the East of Chile is Easter Island, a small Island in the centre
of the Pacific Ocean, here you will be able to experience the fantastic
outdoor museum of the mysterious ancient people. In the Capital
city of Chile, Santiago, you will be able to experience one of the
most beautiful South American cities standing on a wide plain with
the magnificent Andes in full view and also taste some of the world's
famous wines. The Lake District with its fantastic views of the
many Volcanoes and the German influenced culture makes this one
of the most beautiful parts of Chile. The Torres Del Paine National
Park, in the far south of Chile, is world renowned for trekking,
its glaciers, its vividly colored lakes, and many different plants
and wildlife.
When to Visit The North of Chile is best visited
during the months of June to September when the heat is not so intense.
Travel to the South of Chile is best in December to March (summer);
the Torres Del Paine National Park is open all year round, but due
to snow and daylight restrictions only day excursions are possible,
and much of the transport is restricted. The Lake District visited
between October and April is good, but the most pleasant weather
is between September and November (spring). In Santiago during the
summer it is very warm (December to February) and in the winter
(June to August) very smoggy.
